The first Citizenship Table

Empoli is a plural city, rich in different stories and cultures. To make policies fairer and more effective, and to improve services, we need to listen to all the voices that make up our community.

We want to overcome occasional consultations and create a stable tool, a place of work and proposal.

🎯 The Objective of this Path

The goal is not to talk about integration, but to co-design the best mechanism to make it work.

We want to establish a new body (Citizenship Board) that represents citizens with a migratory background resident in Empoli, giving them a voice in the decisions that concern them.

But we don't want to design it ourselves. This process on Empoli Participate serves to establish together what this tool should be like. To do this, the City of Empoli invites citizens with a migratory background who are active in associations or informal groups to participate in a co-design meeting on December 5 at 18:00 at the headquarters of the Municipality in Via Giuseppe del Papa, 41. (1 floor).

This path is open to everyone. In particular, we invite you to participate:

• Citizens with a migratory background

• Associations that operate in the area (cultural and social)

• Cultural mediators and operators in the sector
