In Empoli, we have a new and important tool for participation: the Citizenships Roundtable.
What is the Citizenships Roundtable? It is a new space for ongoing dialogue between the municipal administration and all members of our community. It is a place where Empoli citizens, new citizens, and residents with immigrant backgrounds meet regularly to address challenges together, propose solutions, and improve services and coexistence.
🎯 The goal of this process
For the Table to work well, we don't want the topics to be decided only “from above.” We want them to start from real needs, ideas, and even the critical issues you experience every day.
This process on Decidim serves precisely this purpose: to build together the agenda for the next meetings of the Table.
What do you want us to talk about?
We are looking for concrete proposals, issues, and ideas. For example:
Do you have an idea for improving the municipality's communication with all citizens?
Would you like to propose an initiative to bring together the different cultures present in Empoli?
Have you encountered a specific problem in accessing services (school, registry office, healthcare, housing...)?
Do you see a particular challenge in a neighborhood that concerns coexistence or public spaces?
This collection is open to all citizens. Every proposal is a valuable contribution to making Empoli a better place for everyone.
